Sometime in the distant future, in a world overtaken by corrupted automatons, Vertere is a self-sufficient android created by the genius scientist Luna for the purpose of culling the endless hordes Equipped with blades for feet and a body designed built for rotational speed, he skates across the barren landscape, tearing through metal with equal parts elegance and brutality. As the golden age of humanity has long since passed, Vertere is left alone to do the sole things he was programmed to do: to kill, and to survive.
